I WOULD STRONGLY ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO SEEK A SECOND OPINION AND ASK DETAILED QUESTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH TREATMENT HERE. I had a very concerning experience during a root canal performed by this endodontist. During the procedure, a file broke inside the canal. While the procedure was still ongoing, I developed sudden and severe swelling on the left side of my face, along with pressure near my eye. At the time, the swelling was not clearly recognized or explained. The doctor said that he did not know why it happened and suggested it could be related to an injection or a possible allergy. When I mentioned the pressure near my eye, I was told nothing was affecting it. I was not provided with immediate supportive care such as an ice pack, nor was I advised to seek urgent evaluation. I was prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and pain medication and told to let the swelling calm down and return in about two weeks to complete the root canal, with no arranged follow-up. Two days later, I was evaluated by another endodontist. I highly recommend Dr. Kotler, he was very professional and would explain every step during my root canal procedure. I found him to be very honest, explaining my tooth situation. I also found the staff to be very polite, professional and caring. His assistant, Haniyeh, was very caring and sweet. I was really stressed out, but she calmed me down, and I felt very comfortable and relaxed while I was sitting in the dental chair.

My dentist referred me to this office. The Doctor did a great job, I like his professionalism. On the other hand, the secretary, Ania, was very rude and unprofessional. She never explained the final paperwork/ care plan and prescription that the doctor put for me. Instead, she threw final paperwork and the prescription on the counter no binder or nothing while my hand was stretched to receive it from her. I told her you could have given it to me instead of throwing it then she showed me a mad face and stated, "Does it matter?" She did not even a minute to tell me about the prescription nor inform me about my next appointment with the Dr. She was on her cell phone all the time. She should not be in a position that requires customer service skills.

*****MEAN AND AGGRESSIVE******I took my son here for a routine route canal. Dr Kotler preformed an xray and then the receptionist set the appointment for the following week. When my son and I arrived for the procedure to my supprise we were not on the schedule! This was very upsetting as I had to take off of work for to have this done. They rescheduled me for the following week. When we arrived, my son was nervous a little nervous (he's 10) when I went to comfort him the Dr yelled at me pointing his finger telling me to be quiet and I should no say anything to him. I was shocked at how he yelled and treated us as his clients. He then proceded to say "I am not a child's Endodontics" I then told him he should not except clients who are children. I advised him because of his actions and verbal aggression he used towards me I would be seeking another Dr. To preformed my son's route canel. I have never been more disrespected in my life by someone of his profession. I definitely would not recommend. If I could give a negative star I would!

I had a great experience with Dr. Kotler. I went to him for an emergency root canal. His office was able to get me in for an appointment the same day I called which was such a relief because of the pain I was in. Upon arriving to his office, his staff was friendly and I was seen right at my appointment time. He was as gentle as he could be and talked me through the entire procedure. Dr. Kotler was very personable and very pleasant. At the end, his staff billed me correctly and I’ve had no issues with my tooth since. I would 100% return back for services from Dr. Kotler.
